Alec Guinness Signed Card Dated 1993 + Letter Of Provenance - Star Wars

Description: Alec Guiness signed card, hand-signed by Guinness adding "Good wishes" and dating to 1993 in blue ink. This was originally framed with a b/w photo with a date stamp of Jul 6 1965 on the reverse. Provenance: The signed card comes with the original handwritten letter (in black ink) that the vendor J. Osborn sent to Alec Guiness, praising the actor and politely asking for an autograph or signed photo. Upon returning the letter with the signed card, Alec has handwritten at the bottom of the letter in blue ink "Sorry - I keep no photographs. Too expensive to hand out. Alec". Condition: As previously mentioned, the signed card and b/w photo were originally framed together, and still have some tape on the back from where they have been mounted. The signed card has some slight sun-marking and light corner wear but otherwise in decent condition. Size is approx. 5.5"x3.5" inches. The photo has some slight chemical marks part of the print/from the original processing, and Alec's name is written on the back. Size is approx. 7.25"x9.5" inches.
