Description: For sale is a vintage trinket box by Gzhel porcelain featuring a lid with a weasel for a handle. Measures about 5 3/4" long, 3 1/2" and about 3 1/2" tall to the head of the weasel. Marked with the duck stamp on the underside and "Handpainted USSR" likely placing this in the later half of the of the 1970s to the first half of the 1980s. Very good to excellent condition as shown, no chips and only minor signs of wear with just a few lines of crazing present. Photos are of the exact piece available for sale.
