Description: 1952 Adlai Stevenson - John Sparkman "Vote Straight Democratic" Presidential campaign jugate pin. Union bug on curl at 12 o'clock. Has cardboard backing on reverse and horizontal bar pin. * CONDITION: Very Good++ with a tiny pinpoint speck of celluloid loss just under the first "C" in "Democratic." Small 3/16 inch light circular mark in the celluloid just off the upper right of Sparkman's head. Really only seen when tilted in bright light and not a big deal. Finally some light surface tears on the cardboard reverse under and to the right of the pin as shown. Although difficult to discern in the photo, the area goes from the top of the pin (about a quarter inch wide) and extends down under and through the pin, gradually getting wider to about 3/4 inch. Ends about a half inch below the pin. The light surface tear to the right of the pin measures about 1/2 x 3/4 of an inch. Overall decent and very presentable condition for this scarce pin. * SIZE: Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
