Here is a 15 Cent US Fractional Currency note produced between July 14, 1869 and February 16, 1875, approved under the Act of March 1, 1863 to replace coins, which had become scarce during the Civil War. It measures xx by xx and has some wear to the ink, creases, and worn corners and edges. Please review the photos for a complete description.
