Description: Up for sale are two original watercolor paintings with some pen and ink and graphite so mixed media technically, done by my father Stuart Jones in the 1990s when he would hike from town to town painting along the way. Rothenburg was one of his favorite stops on his route which he did 3 times. The last time he was in his late 80s and everyone kept trying to give him a ride so he thought maybe that was enough hiking at his age. But he would have only a back pack and paint several paintings a day and then give me his sketch book to sell for him upon his return to the states. But these must have been more of his favorites as he'd pulled them from the sketchbook and I only just unearthed them yesterday from a box of scrapbooks and favorite paintings (his souvenirs of choice). These are on thin sketchbook paper, 5x8.5". He painted or drew for over 80 years almost every day, up until his mid 90s when he passed.
