Description: This is an Autometer Auto Gage Tachometer which has been specially modified to operate on Crosley 6 volt positive ground vehicles. Can be used on any 6-Volt Positive or Negative ground vehicle. See my item number 195397442488 for a White Face Tachometer. It has a 0-8000 rpm range with a 2-3/4," lighted, 270 degree sweep dial. Perfect for older classic vehicles like the Crosley. Shown steering column mounted in customer's Crosleys. Comes set up for your 4 cylinder Crosley engine (or other engine on request), with steering column mounting base and stainless steel mounting clamp included, or flat dash mounting base (your choice). Also suitable for other high-revving engines. Fully adjustable for 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines. Simple 3-wire hookup: Ignition Switch (power), Ground, Trigger Wire (to coil). Six volt and positive ground tachometers are extremely hard to find, especially with a practical & usable rpm range, 270 degree dial, and reasonable price. You won't find this available anywhere else. Can I build one for your car? The tachometer can easily be converted back to 12 Volts if you later decide to switch your vehicle electrical system to 12 volts.
