8" Compote Tazza bowl American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Crystal Unique pattern

Description: This is an antique cut glass compote in a unique shapeMeasure: 8" wide by 5" tall.This is the only one I like this I have ever seen. Other collectors have not seen it either and I have showed this off to a lot of Cut glass collectors. It has a unique shape only seen in a few catalogs so the blank shape is rare. The pattern has not turned up that I know of but this has the most unique flashed whirling design I have ever seen- not quite a buzzstar. Alternating with pillars adorned with fans.. The stem has a great shape and the Hobstar cut foot is also a nice special tough. This is guaranteed to be authentic American Brilliant period cut glass from c. 1870-1920.Condition: This is over 100 years old but still in great condition having no chips, cracks or fleabites. Minor age scratches on bottom are appropriate for age.
