The actual measurements are as follows: Bust: 20 inches across, underarm to underarm (40 inches around) Waist: 15.5 inches across (31 inches around) Hips: 24 inches across (48 inches around. This is the measurement for the lining) Length: 40 inches Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around. ADDITIONAL DETAILS This is a beautiful vintage cocktail dress from the 1950s. The bodice of the dress is made out of a lace that is black with silver and gold shiny metallic flowers. The dress has a fitted waist, and the skirt is pleated with a full cut. The skirt is made out of a gauzy sheer chiffon that I believe is silk, and the dress is fully lined in black acetate. The dress has short cap sleeves and a round neckline. The dress closes with a metal zipper down the back, and it comes with a matching belt that has a bow in the center.
