30s Unused Sensational Splendor of Hawaii Tropical GLAM Barkcloth Vintage Fabric

Description: Purchased from the former owner of Full Swing Textiles...the original textile document used to recreate her line of this pattern in the late 80's and 90's...patterns and colorways that made magazine headlines...decorated high end resorts in Jamaica and California in patterns inspired by this very remnant. She also co-authored a book "Fabulous Fabrics of the 20's 30's 40's & 50's". This offering is for ONE unused unwashed original remnant of this lush Hawaiian pattern that had a hand written note by the collector "Camellias on Black". A stunning deepest dark robustly unfaded black with a colorway of floral akin to ELECTRICITY...reddy pinks...bubble gum and shell pinks...chartreuse gives a ZING...jadeite greens...deep dark teal...deep dark burgundy merlot...lemon yellow adds another ZING...slight dove gray...aqua...with creamy white accents. Measures 22 inches wide x 26 inches long. If you love vintage and the look of brand new...then this is a must. Flawless...would be so spectacular framed as art...it would certainly be room changing.
