Why fit spacers? Fitting wheel spacers can improve looks and handling. They can also give you the much needed clearance required when fitting some after-market alloy wheels. No new studs are necessary. How do they fit?Firstly, bolt the spacers to the car's hub using the original wheel studs and the new nuts included in this kit. Then, re-fit the original wheels using your original wheel nuts. There is no need to fit extra long wheel studs. About this kit This kit includes two wheel spacers with studs and nuts (exactly as shown in the pictures). The spacers should NOT be confused with cheap universal items! They are precision machined from billet aluminium and designed for a perfect hub-centric fit. They are perfectly balanced and so will not disturb the vehicles wheel balancing. They are clear anodised for long lasting corrosion protection. Each spacer is supplied with high tensile strength (grade 10.9) studs attached. You also get high tensile strength (grade 10.9) wheel nuts to attach the spacer to the hub. Studs and nuts are bright zinc plated to a high standard. This finish will not chip or crack off. With this design, you retain your original wheel nuts for attaching the wheel to the spacer. Two important check 1. BEFORE PURCHSE: Remove a wheel from the car. Measure the length of the wheel stud that sticks out from the hub. If this is longer than 25mm, then you may need to grind some material off. This is not always the case. Many wheels have pockets (spaces) on the back side of the wheel that mean no grinding is required. 2. BEFORE PURCHSE: Please measure the space available inside the wheel arch lip and with respect to other suspension components, to ensure that you have enough clearance to accomodate these spacers.
