In opening some packs we have found that in Megacards' sealing process, the cards have sealing track marks causing the cards to NOT qualify as Excellent/Near-Mint or better as one would expect from a factory-sealed pack. Issued in 1993 by Megacards, Inc. and The Sporting News Publishing Company and recognized by collectors as a subset within the massive Conlon Collection issued 1991-1995, these cards were obtained directly from the company by sending in wrappers as proofs of purchase plus a nominal charge; consequently they received widespread distribution among marginally serious collectors. You will receive a factory-sealed TWO card pack. The cards of Jackson and Thorpe, numbered 21 and 22, respectively, are from a 47 card subset of colorized cards. Cards #1 through #39 have blue borders while cards #40-47 feature green borders. All colorized cards were issued in black and white as well as color; the color cards being released in far smaller quantities. *Actually 48 cards counting a variation of the #28 Johnny Mize card Condition: Factory-Sealed Pack possibly defective due to packaging.
