Description: This ad is for wheel motors removed from Hover1 Helix models that were returned by the original buyer, mostly with faulty battery packs. These are 3 phase Brushless DC wheel motors with hall effect sensors. They run quiet and cool, and have a surprising amount of torque even at very low RPM. Suitable for replacing a faulty unit on a Hover1 Helix, or to repurpose as prime movers for a robot platform, or for folks who hate getting off their couch so much that it makes sense to put it on wheels so they can drive it about town. (That's my plan, but I only need four) The hoverboards were rated for 160lbs, so figure 80lbs/wheel, and top speed of 7mph, or 10.26ft/s.
