I’ve invested a lot of time and money into this truck, and it’s been a joy to own. However, I’m looking to switch to a full-size truck for work and a 4Runner for daily driving and recreation. As a mechanic/fabricator, I custom-built the flatbed and bumper, and I’ve performed all modifications and maintenance. I have owned the truck since around 170k miles. The body is free of rust, although the original frame did show some surface rust that you would expect on a Tacoma frame. I’ve wire brushed off as much rust as I could and coated the frame with black cosmoline to protect it from rusting further. Before it goes to the new owner, I will be doing lower ball joints, the A/C compressor clutch, and serpentine belt/tensioner. I personally like the madmax look of the raw aluminum, but I admit it may look more polished with the bumper and flatbed painted with black bedliner. If the buyer prefers black, that could negotiated. I also may replace the faded headlight housings. You are not going to find another Tacoma like this, and you couldn't build one for less than the $17,500 that I am asking.
