Description: Powerflex MINI Cooper Upper Passenger Side Engine Mount Insert Bushing for 2007-2013 R55 R56 R57 R58 R59 R60 R61 These PFF5-224 insert is one of the best modifications you can do to your Gen 2 MINI. The insert is a pretty simple install as it goes on the top of the passenger side engine mount right under the bracket that attaches the mount to the engine. By stiffening the mount this will reduce the engine movement and not allow it to rock back and forth as much. This in turn will help get the power to the drivetrain smoother and quicker improving the acceleration. This bushing insert set can also help reduce torque steer as the driveline won't be able to move as much.This is a great mod, but keep in mind this is making the engine mount stiffer so this can add some vibration to the car and interior of your MINI as the mount will now be stiffer, but we feel it isn't that bad and totally worth the gains. If you are a sensitive person this may not be the mod for you. These do NOT replace the rubber bushings, this is only an insert to support and stiffen the existing rubber bushing.This is the standard yellow durometer, but also available in a softer red or hard solid black race version.
