Description: This is a 1998 Cannondale F400 mountain bike, size medium (about 18" from crank to top tube), that is in great shape. I completely disassembled and cleaned it and replaced the original crankset, handlebar, grips, pedals, front and rear derailleurs, and brake levers/shifters with better components. The rest I left original. I then carefully re-assembled and adjusted everything to work properly. The Rock Shox Indy S suspension fork still works great. The wheels run true. The V-brakes have plenty of life left in them. The yellow-orange paint has a nice shine to it and only some scratches appropriate for its age. This is an eye-catching classic USA-made aluminum bike from the glory days of mountain biking and is a lot of fun to ride.
