Description: This delightful piece of the Little Golden Book Classic collection, The Little Red Hen, is about a little red hen that merely seeks help planting wheat seeds, harvesting, converting to flour and then bread. None of the other farm animals are willing to help so she handles each task herself. Then, when it comes time to eat the bread all the farm animals want to help but she tells them no, she will eat it herself. This book is a wonderful learning opportunity for young people to understand the importance of participation. Unfortunately, the drop down choices for title did not include this books actual title and I was unable to proceed without one, therfore, the title category is not accurate. This book is a necessary part of the collection, it has some wearing on the hardcover but no foreign markings on the inside. Enjoy!
