Description: This is a vintage gas tank for a 1974-1977 Kawasaki KZ400 street motorcycle. Looks to me like the original paint. The fuel tank cap is included, but comes with no key. Has a partial petcock asm. The tank is fairly clean on the inside with some minor surface rust...in good shape.Overall no major damage to the shape with a few dings. I believe the manufacturer part number of 51001-109, although there are many numerous color variations. This fuel tank is made in Japan and is suitable for gasoline fuel type. It is a great addition to your vintage motorcycle restoration.
