Description: Offered is one of the rarest, officially licensed Beatles memorabilia items , made in the 1960s! Licensed by King Features Subafilms Limited in 1968, this ultra rare wind-up BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE LOVE WRISTWATCH has a Swiss tooled movement as etched into the silver backing plate on the watch itself. The watch works wonderfully and also keeps good time. The watch crystal is in excellent condition with no scuffs or scratches. The watch face was made using color lithography on tin and is in like new condition. This watchface is prone to wear and chipping so whatever Yellow Submarine Wristwatch you decide to purchase for your collection, make sure you examine the face thoroughly to ensure it’s in good condition. We have owned this watch for many years and it’s always been kept in a low humid environment plus it’s been wound and run on a consistent basis. It includes the original Sheffield hang tag which shows the watch originally sold for $15.95. The original vinyl band is still in excellent condition with the colors still being bright and vivid. The original Sheffield clear plastic bag and warranty card are included. It’s doubtful the watch was ever worn as the holes in the band show no wear. The box is likely a fantasy item as it’s the only one we’ve ever seen but it is as was originally found. But we believe the watch never came issued in a factory box but was sold in stores hanging from a rack. In any case, the box is still a great addition as it’s a great visual display piece.
