Description: Vintage 1961 78 rpm record: Twinkles and his Pals. Twinkles was a happy orange elephant who starred in a Saturday morning cartoon on television. He was created by General Mills as an advertising mascot for their children's breakfast cereal. This record was cut on yellow plastic so it could be easily distinguished from the typical black vinyl 45 rpm records by kids, which is also where Golden Records got its name. Side One has the story "The Hide and Seek Game" while Side Two has "The Parade." Record is in near mint condition and appears to have been played only a couple of times. Paper sleeve is also in near mint condition. This is Golden Records Product #LGR 657. Thanks for reading!
