I offer a DISCOUNT for COD, Check, and Money Order payments! 1950s - 1960s VINTAGE Sports-Pal Green Marble Bakelite Flip Top Case with Carry Handle Marked on the top "Sports-Pal Hi-Impact Polystyrene Fiberglass Reinforced Keystone Chicago, 14 ILL X168A"Not sure if that's technically Bakelite but it has the look and feel of a Bakelite piece. Made before 1963 since it doesn't have a Zip Code. It was used since new as a Slot Car Carry Case and has been sitting untouched on a shelf in the basement for at least 20 years. It would be perfect to use as a Vintage Tackle Box display piece. Measures 9-3/4" long x 4-1/4" wide x 3" tall Very Good Vintage Used Condition with NO cracks, splits, or breaks. There were rubber tires inside and on top of the case which over the years stuck to the plastic in 2 spots. One is on the underside of the Carry Handle on the right side and the other is on the bottom of the inside of the box. Both are very minor and might be able to be polished out. There is also a spot of white paint on the bottom front corner which I did not attempt to clean off.
