Would need a service soon. Comes from an estate: service history unkown. I got the case cleaned & disinfected (not buffed). SOLD AS IS - AS FOUND. ______________________________________Technical details: Hamilton, mde in USA, caliber 987S, 6/0 size, 17 jewels, center second, hack feature. Movement serial number SS40983 (circa 1944). This dial is 100% original, untouched, super patina. 10K Gold Filled case, usual tiny scratches. The snap back has a couple minor dents. NO personal engravings. The crystal is acrylic, good condition. The crown seems original and correct for the era. BOY'S SIZE: measures 28.6 mm wide without crown, 36 mm tall, 11 mm thick. 15mm between lugs.
