Description: Interesting and Collectable E Howard, watch company, Abbott, watch company, private label 16 size antique pocket watch. Movement is in the Sidewinder configuration and feature 17 jewels in gold Jewel settings with gold timing screws. Very attractive and good running movement that seems to keep time, but I have not checked it over a long period. A high-grade adjusted watch from one of the iconic watch factories in America. Watch is 16 size with an original Abbott double sunk dial, but dial does have some hairlines and a chip. Nice hands. Watch winds and sets correctly and is in a nickel silver case. Case has some wear and is in good working condition. Please see pictures for more information and condition. Sold as is. Serial number 993727, circa 1917 making this watch over 100 years old.
