DESCRIPTION: Complete letter on four 6 by 9.5 sheets of hotel stationery from The Cottage Hotel in Fair Haven, Vermont, dated Sept. 19, 1902. Written to "My Darling Bertha," by some fellow trying to straighten things out after "...that Boston trouble..."reassuring her that he "...tried to act as a gentleman should on the occasion..." Sounds interesting, but I don't have the patience to try and figure out the whole message. I just thought that the stationery with pictures of the old hotel was kinda cool. No envelope.
