Description: Submitted for your consideration is an ORIGINAL $50 Obsolete Note from 1853, drawn on the FARMERS' & EXCHANGE BANK in Charleston SC. This note is dated August 09, 1853 and signed twice; by a Reese and a Martin (I believe). The Overall Condition of this note is somewhere between VG and Fine, as per PCGS Traditional Grading guidelines. The black mark on reverse is just that - not a hole. I am not a currency expert by any stretch of the imagination; not even a dealer. This is just the unqualified opinion of an old geezer. This note, and those listed below, came to me in a lot that included other stuff I collect. So, please examine photos and ask any questions. USPS Ground Advantage Ship Fee includes Insurance { please review my Seller feedback and buy with confidence } FYI ~ I do NOT permit eBay to send Lower Offers to members, so the price you see here is the price. Please be advised this note is listed in local venues, so I reserve the right to end this listing if it sells elsewhere.
