No pagination: 17.5 x 11.5", folio. In fair condition. Front board detached from binding. Full leather boards normally scuffed at edges and worn/bumped at corners. Previous restoration exhibited on front and rear hinges. Head and tail of spine rubbed; head exhibits some loss of leather. Gilt lettering and deco on spine overall bright and clean. Scratching and soiling to original boards; gilt bordering mostly rubbed off. Previous ownership bookplate of an ostrich holding a horseshoe found on front paste-down: "Contemtis Loris; Charles Francis Wyatt, M.A., Broughton Rectory, Oxon." A different previous ownership bookplate found on front end-page: "Margaret Hunting; (H.J.F. Badeley, 1947)". Normal foxing to front end-page & frontispiece (recto). Normal toning throughout text-block with instances of age-staining. Binding of text-block remains intact; front board needs re-attached.
