Description: Hello. I breed pet quality silkiesand would love to share some of these beauties with you. These are NOT hatchery quality birds. I have invested a lot of money in show quality birds from reputable breeders, but since I do not show and am not experienced with breeding show quality birds, I have listed these as pet quality as there may be pigment holes in the paints or possibly a silver hackle on a blue, etc. I CAN guarantee that they will be super fluffy, beautiful birds:) I have 2 pens. One pen is BBS, (Blue, black, splash) and one is a paint pen that has Paint, and Black from paint. Color possibilities are paint, black, splash, blue, light blue and light splash which looks lavender. I DO include extra eggs. I typically have 100% fertility with 98% hatch rate here at home. As we all know, shipping can affect the hatch rate if they are handled roughly. Priority packages are dumped on a conveyor belt and tumble. Sometimes this rolling/tumbling can cause the membrane to separate from the shell. If this occurs, the eggs will not develop and appear to be infertile. For this reason, I highly recommend Express shipping, especially if you live on the West Coast or Central US. Express packages are handled completely different than priority. Eggs are packed in a custom foam block inside of a large priority box. Outside of the package will be marked Fragile, Hatching Eggs, and very visible.
